VASCO: Vasco police have registered a case of criminal breach of trust after a rented vehicle was allegedly taken out of Goa and misappropriated by the accused.
As per the complaint filed by Shivanand Talwar, a resident of Mangoor, Vasco, the incident occurred on June 16 at around 9:00 am near “Luxury Car Wonders” on Airport Road, Dabolim. The accused, identified as Prashant Singh from Madhya Pradesh, reportedly hired a white-coloured Fortuner car on a rental basis and later fled with the vehicle outside the State, allegedly with dishonest intentions.
Following the complaint, Vasco police registered an offence under Section 316(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.
Further investigation is being carried out by PSI Prisley Carvalho under the supervision of PI Vaibhav Naik and guidance of Mormugao DySP Gurudas Kadam.
