PANAJI: The Cyber Crime Cell of Goa has arrested accused for impersonating Health Minister FB Profile from Bharatpur Rajasthan.
Cyber Crime Cell team led by PSI Devendra Pingle arrested one Arman s/o Rafeek , R/o village Nandera satwas, Kaman , Bharatpur Rajasthan for making and using fake profile of Sh. Vishwajeet Rane Hon’ble Health Minister on Facebook.
During interrogation accused revealed that he would make fake profiles of public personalities in the hope of cheating people by sending them messages asking for money. However, he failed to do so in this case due to proactive response of Cyber Cell which immediately disabled the profile.
Further investigation regarding other accused if any is underway.
