Shiroda: An awareness session on Cyber Hygiene Practices was organized for students at St. Joseph Church, Shiroda–Goa, on 14th December 2025 at 9:30 AM, with the objective of promoting safe and responsible use of the internet among young users.
The session was conducted by Mr. Allen Pauly Payappilly, Cyber Yoddha – Goa Police and Information Security Education and Awareness Ambassador. He addressed students on key cyber safety topics such as safe social media usage, protection of personal information, online scams, cyber bullying, and the importance of strong passwords. The talk focused on practical, easy-to-follow steps that students can apply in their daily digital activities.
Students actively engaged during the session and gained valuable knowledge on identifying cyber threats and maintaining good cyber hygiene. PC Lavu Gawas was present during the program.
The session highlighted the importance of early cyber awareness to help students become responsible and informed digital citizens.
