PORVORIM: Under the banner of ” Cyber Surakshit Goen” campaign, Cyber Cell concluded four 4 days Cyber Crime awareness sessions for all Goa high school computer teachers which was conducted at SCERT, Porvorim in collaboration with Department of Education for computer teachers.
Total around 450 high School computer teachers attended this training since from last 4 days.
Overwhelming response was received from these teachers who in turn will educate about 35 to 40 thousands students across Goa and society about cyber crimes.
The ultimate aim of this training was to create awareness about latest trends in cyber crimes and what measures we need to take so as to not to fall prey for these crimes.
This cyber training was conducted with the support of Govind Parvatkar, Chairman of GEDC, Meghana Shetgaonkar, Director of SCERT and Govind Raj Desai, Training Cordinator of SCERT, Porvorim.
Further it is targeted to train about 167 Cyber volunteers so that they can further utilised to create cyber awareness across the state.
