PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today said that the Coastal Zone Management Plan (CZMP) 2019 will be completed and finalised within one year.
Responding in the House, the Chief Minister stated that the government is working to address pending issues and incorporate necessary corrections before final approval of the plan.
He said the CZMP is a crucial document for regulating development along Goa’s coastline while ensuring environmental protection.
Sawant added that the government aims to bring clarity to coastal regulations through the updated plan, balancing ecological concerns with the needs of local residents and development.
