MARGAO: An unidentified person was found lying near Cine Lata, close to the Margao Municipal Council, on Wednesday morning. Police received information from the PCR Panaji at around 7.31 am regarding the incident.
Upon reaching the spot, the person was shifted to the District Hospital, Margao, where the doctor on duty declared him brought dead. Subsequent enquiries revealed that the deceased was identified as Ravi (other details not known), who had been working as a daily wage labourer in the Margao area for the past 20 years.
Further enquiry in the matter is being conducted by PSI Subhash Gaonkar of Margao Town Police Station.
