PANAJI: VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce and Economics, Margao and Goa College of Engineering moved ahead in the Goa University Inter Collegiate Cricket Men Championship 2023-24, at Goa University Cricket Ground, Taleigao.
In the first match, VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce and Economics, Margao defeated Goa College of Music by 166 Runs.
Put into bat, VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce and Economics, Margao scored 223/2 in 20 overs.
Shubham Gajinkar: 92(59) and Kaushal Hattangaddi 79(55) were the topscorers.
Shaunak Gosavi picked one wicket for Music college.In reply, Goa College of Music were all out for paltry 57in 18 overs.
Anant Talawanekar: 27(53) was the topscorer.
Granthik Burjao 3/10, Deep Kaasvankar 3/09 bowled well for Damodar.
In second match, Goa College of Engineering defeated Parvatibai Chowgule College, Margao by 46 runs.
Goa College of Engineering, Farmagudi scored 165/9 in 20 overs.
Ajinkya Chari: 40(26), Om Fadte 34(21) were top scorers.
Sanat Raikar: 2/26 bowled well for Chowgule.
In reply: Parvatibai Chowgule College, Margao scored 119/10 in 19.4 overs.
Anurag Singh 34(22) batted well for Chowgule.
