PANAJI: MGP Supremo Sudin Dhavalikar today said that decision on alliance with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will be taken after Delhi visit.
Dhavalikar also hit out CM Pramod Sawant over his failure to provide network connectivity to students for online classes.
Addressing the media, Sudin said that AAP has invited the MGP members to Delhi as a gesture to check out the governance there and decision on alliance will be taken later.
“Decision on alliance will be taken after our visit to Delhi. We will also hold discussion regarding this with our partymen and then only a final decision will be taken,” said Sudin
He further blamed the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant for his failure to provide better network connectivity to all the students who are having online classes.
“The BJP government has failed to give good facilities of network facilities to students. Due to pandemic many parents are not in position to provide internet facilities and gadgets. The govt should have come up some sort of scheme,” he said
He said that some parents cannot even afford to buy books and how will they afford to buy a costly smartphone and pay for mobile recharge for online classes.
Does the State government not want students from a poor background and rural areas to do well in their studies?”
Dhavalikar claimed that Chief Minister Pramod Sawant had assured in the last assembly session that online classes would not be started until there are proper arrangements for internet connectivity.
Speaking on JICA, Sudin said that CM Sawant blaming me for water issues is indirectly blaming late Parrikar.
“During my tenure, JICA water connectivity has improved a lot. I do not understand how CM Sawant is blaming me. I think he is indirectly blaming Late Parrikar and PWD Minister Pauskar,” he said
Sudin further said that MGP will win SANVORDEM seat with a margin of 5000 votes.
Meanwhile, Dhavalikar criticised CM Sawant for failing to control law and order situation.
“Instead of controlling law and order and situation, CM is busy campaigning in constituencies. Government should not hide anything in Siddhi Naik case and should properly investigate the matter,” Sudin
