Authorities in India reported that the blast created intense flames that engulfed nearby vehicles. Photos from the scene captured broken windows, damaged cars and rising smoke. Home Minister Amit Shah said the explosion involved a Hyundai i20 near a traffic signal close to the Red Fort. He confirmed that CCTV recordings from the area will be a key part of the inquiry.
Officials stated that all potential links and motives are being examined. Shah added that investigators will move quickly and share their findings once the assessment is complete.
