PANAJI: Health Minister Vishwajit Rane today said that in view of the Delta Plus Variant cases found in the neighbouring states, the state health department shall ensure that stringent monitoring is taking place at the borders.
HM Rane also clarified that no cases of Delta Plus Variant have been found in the state.
“In view of the Delta Plus Variant cases found in the neighbouring states, the state health department shall ensure that stringent monitoring is taking place at the borders. Till date, no cases of Delta Plus Variant have been found,” said HM Rane
He further said that Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant has already issued instructions on this matter.
“We need to ensure that our borders are secure to prevent the variant from entering in to the state of Goa,”he added
The Health Minister said that CM Dr. Pramod Sawant & him have been constantly monitoring the situation on ground and fighting this pandemic unitedly.
