Margao: The Goa Developer’s Summit 2.0 witnessed an inspiring convergence of over 1,300 developers, students, IT professionals, tech entrepreneurs and startup founders at the BITS Goa Campus on October 11, 2025.
Organised by the Goa Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) with support from the Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications (DITE&C), the summit served as a vibrant platform to empower young minds and drive the future of innovation and entrepreneurship in Goa.
The event was inaugurated in the presence of Shri Rohan Khaunte, Hon’ble Minister for ITE&C, Tourism and Printing & Stationery, who addressed the gathering in the morning session.
Encouraging students and developers to think boldly and innovatively, Minister Khaunte said, “The future of innovation lies in your hands. You are the creators, the problem-solvers — the ones who will turn challenges into opportunities. With the Government’s support and collaboration with industry and academia, we are building a sustainable and future-ready digital ecosystem for Goa.”
The one-day summit gave students and tech enthusiasts a unique opportunity to interact with innovators, startup founders and industry experts while exploring the latest in development tools, emerging technologies and best practices.
The event featured 26 distinguished speakers, including leading entrepreneurs, technologists and policy experts who shared valuable insights on current and future technology trends. Among the notable speakers were Americo (Ricky) Noronha (Founder Director, Online Productivity Solutions Pvt. Ltd), Amarsh Chaturvedi (Co-founder & CTO, Neural Machines), Dr. Niyan Marchon (Program Director, Directorate of Higher Education), Dr. Vijay Borges (Project Director, Directorate of Technical Education), Amogh Kamat Tarcar (Senior Data Scientist, Innovation Labs, Persistent), D.S. Prashant (CEO, Startup and IT Promotion Cell, DITE&C), Shriram Phadte (Center Head – Goa, McLaren Strategic Solutions), Amresh Kantak (Founder & CEO, Atlascore Labs), Lalit Saraswat (CEO, Sancoale Technologies), Bhavit Naik (Co-founder & CEO, Onstro), and Anand Prabhudesai (Executive Director & COO, Turtlemint), among others.
Marking a significant milestone in Goa’s growing tech landscape, the Developer’s Summit 2.0 stood out as a day of learning, networking and collaboration, reaffirming the state’s commitment to fostering a vibrant startup ecosystem and positioning Goa as a hub for technology-driven growth.
