PANAJI: JMFC Panaji today today has granted bail to Dharmesh Saglani in the alleged extortion case.
Saglani was granted bail over personal bond of Rs 50,000.
Crime Branch has arrested Congress Leader Dharmesh Saglani for his involvement in criminal act along with five others by forming unlawful assembly and inturn extorting Rs 50 lakhs.
It is alleged that the five accused and who were bouncers and Saglani had formed a wrongful confinement and then later assaulted the victim Ankit Jagodia, a native of Haryana and extorted Rs 50 lakhs.
The crime branch have claimed that the other co-accused are being traced.
