PANAJI: The Department of Information and Publicity, as part of the State level function of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti Celebration to be held on February 19, 2023, at Farmagudi, Ponda, will organize an All Goa Inter-Collegiate Quiz on the topic – Life, Times and legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and All Goa Theatrical Entry (Natya Pravesh) Competition for students of High School and Higher Secondary Level on the life and work of Shivaji Maharaj from 9.00 a.m. onwards at the precincts of Ganapati Temple premises at Farmagudi.
The winners of the Intercollegiate Quiz will be awarded a Cash Prize of Rs. 7,500/-, Rs. 5,000/- and Rs. 3,000/- as first, second and third prizes, respectively and two consolation prizes of Rs. 500/- each.
The winners of the theatrical entry (Natya Pravesh) competition will be awarded a Cash Prize of Rs. 10,000/-, Rs. 7,000/- and Rs. 5,000/- as first, second, third prize, respectively and two consolation prizes of Rs. 2,000/- each besides certificates to those educational Institutions participating in the contest.
Those desirous of participating in the above competitions may submit their entries to the Department of Information of Publicity during office hours before February 16, 2023.
