PANAJI: V.M. Salgaocar College of Law organised a stimulating discussion on the topic of “Digital Colonialism.” The event aimed to raise awareness about how online data is impacting human lives and how major tech companies use it for profit. Guest speaker Adv. Vasudev Anant Sinai Amonkar provided valuable insights into legal provisions designed to protect online data. The discussion was moderated by Prof. Dr. B.S. Patil, ensuring that the audience gained valuable insights.
During the session, the audience posed numerous questions to the speaker, showcasing the concerns among them regarding data-sharing risks in the digital age.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Asst. Prof. Varsha Redkar, making it a successful and informative gathering. It was a thought-provoking and enlightening session with Dr. Aamod Shirali and Asst. Prof. Siddesh Tari in attendance.
