Margao: The second meeting of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) for the financial year 2025–26 was held under the chairmanship of MP (Lok Sabha) Capt. Viriato Fernandes and co-chaired by MP (Rajya Sabha) Sadanand Shet Tanavade.
MPs, MLA Nilesh Cabral, South Goa Collector Egna Cleetus, IAS, officials from various departments, and local representatives attended the meeting, which reviewed the progress of ongoing Central government schemes in South Goa.
The committee discussed key development initiatives and assessed the implementation status of welfare and infrastructure projects.
Directions were issued to ensure timely and effective execution of all schemes for the benefit of the people in the district.
