PANAJI: Goa Forward Party (GFP) President and Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai said that disrespect to Dr Jack Sequeira exposes our government’s total disrespect for our identity.
“Disrespect to Dr Jack Sequeira exposes our government’s total disrespect for our identity. The continued disrespect of #Goa’s great sons, and the attempts to erase our historical, cultural and traditional past are part of a systematic plan to water down the unique identity,” said Vijai.
He further said that Goa is increasingly becoming an insignificant pawn in the hands of the union Govt with the BJP MLAs becoming their servile coolies who are terrified to respond to destructive issues like coal and double tracking.
“Support for South Goa Candidate Capt Viriato Fernandes is evidence of people’s contempt for Goa’s betrayers and an emphatic rejection of their lies.
Vijai also said that Goa is witnessing the coming together of all opposition parties, including my former adversaries, who oppose the divisive, anti-Goa, corrupt BJP Goa govt on one platform.
“This is what Goa desired, this is what Goa needs,” he added.
