BICHOLIM: BJP state president and Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Tanavade said that everyone should not do politics using late Manohar Parrikar’s name.
Tanavade was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a program in Bicholim.
“Manohar Parrikar is one of the tallest leaders. Nobody should do politics over him. He is above the party. We cannot forget the development for which he is instrumental.” said Tanavade.
He further said that nobody should make a statement using his name for their political gains.
Utpal Parrikar recently attacked Babush Monserrate, the MLA for Panaji, accusing him of being responsible for the mess in Panjim and the unsuccessful Smart City projects.
The MLA retaliated, claiming that Manohar Parrikar had hired all of the city contractors and had given his word that all of Panjim’s construction would be finished by May 31, 2024.
Reacting to newspaper article on possible induction of Utpal Parrikar in BJP, Tanavade claimed it to be false.
