VASCO: Dr. Anil Mehndiratta, a renowned chest physician and DG Shipping-approved medical examiner, was honored with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual Indian Medical Association (IMA) Goa state conference, GIMACON. The award was presented by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant during a grand ceremony that recognized Dr. Mehndiratta’s contributions to the medical field.
Dr. Mehndiratta has had an illustrious career, having served as the IMA Goa state president in 2019 and the state secretary in 2012. His dedication to the organization continues as the Website Editor of IMA Goa state, a position he has held since 2013.
In addition to this recent accolade, Dr. Mehndiratta is a recipient of the IMA National President’s Appreciation Award, which he received at the National IMA conference in Kolkata in 2019. He was also recognized with an Appreciation Award by IMA Margao in January 2020.
The recognition at GIMACON underscores Dr. Mehndiratta’s lifelong commitment to advancing medical practice in Goa, and his contributions to both the state and national chapters of the Indian Medical Association.
