CANACONA: Dr. Sairaj Phaldessai, son of the late Dr. Satish Phaldessai, has been appointed by the University of Tokyo as a Collaborator in Rural Health, where he will present research papers on rural healthcare in India.
A graduate of Goa Medical College, Dr. Phaldessai has been actively continuing his father’s legacy in rural medicine. His appointment is a recognition of his dedicated contributions to the field and marks a proud moment for Goa’s medical fraternity on the international stage.
Through this collaboration, Dr. Phaldessai aims to bring greater attention to the challenges and innovations in rural healthcare, fostering stronger links between India’s grassroots medical practices and global research networks.
