PANAJI: Deputy Collector (DRO) North Goa, Ishwar Madan Madkaikar, chaired a meeting to review the implementation of the Compensation to Victims of Hit-and-Run Motor Accidents Scheme 2022.
During the meeting, Madkaikar directed police officials and revenue authorities to expedite the scrutiny and processing of applications already received under the scheme.
He also instructed representatives from the Health Department, Transport Department, and other stakeholders to actively create awareness about the scheme, identify victims and their families, and extend necessary guidance in submitting applications.
The review meeting was held at the North Goa Collectorate.
