PORVORIM: Porvorim Police have registered a case against a 43-year-old man for allegedly causing a three-car collision while driving under the influence of alcohol on NH-66 near Holy Family Church. Acting on a complaint by Kiran Revalkar of Porvorim, police said the incident took place on 15 June prior to 7.20 pm, when the accused, Pulkit Girdhar Gopal Agarwal from Agra, was reportedly driving a Maruti Baleno (GA03-AF-7841) in a rash and negligent manner. He allegedly rear-ended another Maruti Baleno (GA10-A-2269), which then lurched forward and struck a Range Rover (DL-1-CT-3446) in front of it. The offence was formally registered on 26 June at 9.31 pm. Further investigation is being carried out by Head Constable Vivek Toraskar.
