MORMUGAO: The delegation of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands in New Delhi along with Business delegation visited Mormugao Port on Friday
The Senior Dutch Delegation comprising of 16 delegates were welcomed by Dr. N. Vinodkumar, Chairperson, Mormugao Port Authority alongwith Vinayaka Rao, Dy. Chairperson, HOD’s and other Senior Port Officials.
Chairperson briefed the august gathering on various Green initiatives undertaken by Port. The purpose of the visit is to explore potential collaboration opportunities with the Port in the field of Green Port Projects, Renewables, Hydrogen readiness, operational aspects-safety, storage, pilots, etc.
The highlights of the visit comprises of address by. Jan Reint Smit, Innovation Counsellor, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherland in India. Anneleen de Ruiter, Program Advisor – Netherland Enterprise Agency delivered talk on Green Ports.
The meeting followed by Tug visit to Mormugao Port. The delegation appreciated Port infrastructure and the various green initiatives taken up by Port
