ANJUNA: Joint teams of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) conducted raids at six locations in Anjuna as part of an ongoing investigation, sources said.
The searches were carried out on individuals allegedly connected with the party circuit and tourism-related activities.
Simultaneously, NCB teams also conducted raids at the residence of a prominent Congress leader in Chapora and at two other locations, besides multiple search operations in Assagao.
Officials have not issued an official statement so far, and the details of the seizures, if any, are yet to be ascertained. Further information is awaited as the investigation progresses.
