Team Goemkarponn
CANACONA: Fulfilling a dream nearly a decade in the making, eight young men from Goa have completed an adventurous motorcycle expedition to Ladakh, celebrating friendship and determination.
The group—Sumeet Prabhakar Dhonkalkar, Pratik Laxman Kopardekar, Sahil Chandrakant Gawas, Sahil Rashikant Parab, Arya Sudesh Naik, Yogesh Umesh Ramnathkar, Shubesh Dayanand Naik Gaonkar, and Rahul Janardhan Pilgaonkar—set out to conquer some of the world’s highest motorable passes, including Umling La (19,024 ft), Khardung La (17,982 ft), Tanglang La (17,480 ft), and Baralacha La (16,040 ft).
Their 2025 journey was marked by treacherous roads, harsh weather, and thin air, but also by unbreakable camaraderie and a shared promise made in 2016.
Beyond adventure, their story is a testament to enduring friendship and the power of keeping dreams alive, proving that with unity and determination, no destination is too far.
