Colva: An unknown accused has been booked for theft after electronic gadgets and other valuables worth approximately ₹1.84 lakh were stolen from a house near Zalor Beach, Carmona.
According to a complaint lodged by Anuj Saxena, a resident of Pune, Maharashtra, the incident occurred between 7.00 am and 7.35 am when the accused gained entry into the complainant’s house through the main door.
Police said the stolen items include a Dell laptop valued at around ₹1 lakh, a Samsung Galaxy tablet worth approximately ₹65,000, a Samsung Galaxy mobile phone valued at ₹19,900, along with other miscellaneous articles. Following the complaint, Colva police registered an offence and initiated investigation to trace the culprit.
Further investigation in the case is being carried out by PSI Manju Vantamuri of Colva Police Station.
