PANAJI: The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs will be organising the State Youth Festival on November 13 and 14, 2024, at Kala Academy, Panaji to provide a platform to the youth to showcase their cultural talent.
The 1st place winners at the State level will be deputed for the national youth festival 2025. Various State level activities will be conducted in the following components. In Culture component Group Folk Dance (Competitive, Number of Participants 13), Group Folk Song (Competitive, Participants 13), Solo Folk Dance (Competitive Participant 01), Solo Folk Song will be (Competitive, Participants 01). In Life Skill Component Story Writing (competitive, Participants 01), Poster making (competitive Participants 01), Declamation (competitive, participants 01), Poetry (competitive, participants 01) activities will be conducted. Similarly activities such as Handicraft (competitive, participants 03), Textile (competitive, participants 03), Agro products (competitive, participants 03) will be conducted in Yuva Kriti component.
The applications are invited in prescribed proforma and maximum 01, entry in group events and maximum 02 entries in individual events and for Yuva Kriti maximum 03 entries will be accepted through the educational institutions, youth clubs, musical institutions, registered youth groups and State department from the deserving and eligible Youth in the age group of 15 to 29 years, i.e. participants should be not less than 15 years and not more than 29, years of age as on January 16, 2025 to participate in the State Youth Festival.
All the applications duly filled in, enclosing the relevant age proof, Aadhar Card or Birth Certificate and bank details (bank passbook copy) should be submitted online on the link http://forms.gle/forms.gle/TQseNQ9zBbSmLc5PA also the criteria’s for the above mentioned event and link are uploaded on the website of office of the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Campal, Panaji-Goa http://dsya.goa.gov.in on or before October 30, 2024.
