COLVA: Two women have been apprehended by the Colva police today in relation to an extortion investigation.
A 23-year-old Uttar Pradesh native and a 29-year-old Bihar female have been named as the suspects.
A Karnataka resident who was staying at a resort in Benaulim Salcete reported the incident to the police on July 29.
He said that the accused two and an additional unidentified taxi driver had forced him to pay Rs. 4,000 for escort call lady services.
The complainant told the police, “They then threatened to implicate me in a false case and demanded more money.”
