PORVORIM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today has assured 100% action in fake government job cases; govt is very serious, will take strict action.
“I assure that 100% action in fake government job cases. The government is very serious, will take strict action,” said Sawant
He further said that people also need to be alert while stating that some people are ready to give money for posts that are not even advertised.
“Some are willing to pay for unadvertised posts, people must remain alert,” he said.
CM Sawant brought attention to the problem of corruption, saying that it frequently starts at the lowest level and hinders effective governance while creating problems for the general public.
“People have been accusing politicians in the past eight to ten days, but these con artists, who pose as government representatives, are unaffiliated with the government. “Common people are misled by them,” Sawant stated.
Sawant urged people to combat corruption in conjunction with the symbolic “Narkasur Dahan,” a ceremony that burns away evil, as Diwali draws near. “As we celebrate Diwali, let us pledge to eradicate corruption with the same fervor,” he remarked.
Sawant asked for government workers to be vigilant in their identity verification and cautioned about the increasing danger of fraud associated with the growth of digital services. Fraudsters can take advantage of the same technology that helps us. To assure authenticity and stop abuse, government employees must confirm caller names,” he said.
Under the Swayampurna Goa’s Vision for All initiative, Sawant said that government has conducted ophthalmic checkups in schools for approximately 12,000 students and provided free spectacles.
“Additionally, 8 to 9 students underwent minor surgeries,’ he added
CM Sawant has urged everyone to celebrate Diwali in a way that doesn’t disturb others and promotes a safe, pollution-free environment. He extended greetings ahead of the festive season.
