SANGUEM: One of the Historic submerged Someshwar Temple of Lord Shiva at Cardi Vaddem will be rebuilt again, assured Sanguem Constituency MLA and Social Welfare Minister Subhash Phaldesai.
Speaking to the reporters during the religious program of Shri Mahalakshmi Mandir Temple in Curdi Vaddem, he said, “We are once again trying to build a Someshwar temple at Cardi Vaddem, and I am seeking the help of the government to restore the Someshwar temple,” said Phaldesai.
He said that after the submerging of Curdi village there needs to be the rehabilitation of the people of this village in Vaddem village as well as in other parts of Sanguem.
“I will raise the issue of restoration before the government and to re-construct this historic temple it needs around 5 to 7 thousand sq. for which there is a need government support” said Faldessai.
“Once again, after the construction of this temple, history, tradition, and culture will be revived,” said Faldesai.
