PANAJI: V. S. Dempo Holdings Pvt. Ltd today has filed a complaint at Cyber Crime Police Station for circulating false and fabricated “news item” /screen shot showing Picture of Pallavi Dempo, one of the Directors in the Dempo Group of Companies, with false information that “Business Tie-Up expected between Dempo & Adani Groups after Polls”.
A complaint was received by Cyber Crime PS, RIbandar Goa from Sharmila S. Prabhu, authorized representative of V. S. Dempo Holdings Pvt. Ltd. stating that a false and fabricated “news item” /screen shot is circulated on WhatsApp showing Picture of Pallavi Dempo, one of the Directors in the Dempo Group of Companies, with false information that “Business Tie-Up expected between Dempo & Adani Groups after Polls”.
Further complaint stated that neither a tie up nor is there a tie up proposed or any understanding, joint venture or otherwise a business deal between both the Companies hence content of said “news item”/screen shot circulated on WhatsApp is false, fabricated and maliciously circulated.
Cyber Crime Police Station, Ribandar, Goa has initiated necessary legal in the Complaint and request public not to circulate said post.
