Familes of government employees can now avail benefit of the government’s flagship Health Insurance scheme – Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana (DDSY).
“Services that the non-dependant members on the existing cards who are now blocked shall be allowed to make fresh card on payment of fees and will be eligible to avail all the DDSSY procedure,” the notification reads
Earlier, enrolment under the Deen Dayal Swastha Seva Yojana (DDSSY) scheme haf been discontinued for government employees ‘since they are governed under the existing medical attendance rules’, the cabinet said.
