MARGAO: The South Goa Sessions Court has sentenced the convicted accused in the 2020 Fatorda double murder case to a life sentence of hard imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000.
On February 2, 2020, the Fatorda Police filed a murder case under section 302 of the IPC against the accused, 30-year-old Arjuna Kazidoni of Pequeno-Madel, Margao.
The case pertains to the brutal double murder of Bhimsi S. Gasti, a 30-year-old resident of Khareband-Margao, and Mutanna, also known as Ravi Badiger, an 18-year-old resident of Gogal Housing Board, Fatorda. Additionally, one Sunil Sawant was injured in the incident.
The culprit in the 2020 Fatorda double murder case found guilty by the South Goa Sessions Court has been sentenced to life in hard prison and a punishment of Rs 10,000.
Section 302 of the IPC was utilized by the Fatorda Police to file a murder charge against Arjuna Kazidoni, a 30-year-old resident of Pequeno-Madel, Margao, on February 2, 2020.
The case concerns the vicious double murder of Mutanna, also known as Ravi Badiger, an 18-year-old resident of Gogal Housing Board, Fatorda, and Bhimsi S. Gasti, a 30-year-old resident of Khareband-Margao. In addition, one Sunil Sawant sustained injuries in the event.
