FATORDA: A 38-year-old man, Krishna Roy, was arrested by Fatorda police for the alleged murder of his wife, 28-year-old Karishma Roy, following a suspected domestic dispute that ended in tragedy.
According to police, the couple had a heated argument at their residence, which reportedly escalated into a violent altercation. Investigators believe the confrontation led to Karishma’s death.
Karishma’s body has been sent to the morgue for preservation, and a postmortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause and time of death. Police say the autopsy findings will be key to advancing the investigation.
The accused is currently in custody and being questioned. Authorities are also gathering forensic evidence and recording witness statements to piece together the sequence of events.
Officials stated that the investigation is ongoing and assured that appropriate legal action will be taken based on the evidence.
