FATORDA: Fatorda Police have seized 1.1 kg of ganja worth around ₹1.1 lakh, cash, and drug-packing equipment during a raid at a residence in Borda on Tuesday evening. Acting on credible information, a house search warrant was obtained from the DySP/SDPO, Margao, following which a team searched the residence of Tehran alias Terrence Savio Fernandes of Modsai, Borda, between 7.00 pm and 9.30 pm. Police recovered 1.1 kg of ganja, 820 gms of polythene packaging material, four Lenovo tablets, three weighing machines, a red-and-black packing machine, a wooden gun resembling an airgun, and cash amounting to ₹1,05,600 in various denominations. The seized items were attached under panchanama. A case has been registered under Crime No. 77/2025 for offences under Sections 20(b)(ii)(B), 21(b), and 22(b) of the NDPS Act. Further investigation is underway under the supervision of PSI Satvashil Devidas of Fatorda Police Station.
