PONDA: Ponda MLA and Agriculture Minister held a review meeting on development work in Ponda.
All the officials of various government departments, including NH officials , sewerage, roads, electricity, water supply, WRD etc., were present for the meeting.
Speaking after the meeting, he said work on the approach rod of the incomplete Khandepar Bridge would begin soon and would be completed in six months.
He said financial approval had been received for the work from NH.
He also discussed pending sewerage work and directed officials to expedite work. He asked all departments, including Sewerage and Gas laying lines, to coordinate with each other so that roads are not dug again and again, causing inconvenience to the public.
He said pending the Seweage work, the hot mix carpeting of some roads is not pending, and he had directed officials to submit details about work next week.
