CANACONA: Canacona police booked three Loliem residents for inducing a resident of Navi Mumbai to pay an amount of Rs.1.26 Cr showing and promising to sell a Bungalow and its surrounding property not belonging to them.
According to Canacona police, upon the complaint of Dr. Deepak Raichand Sondhi r/o Navi Mumbai, that from December 2022 to till date at Loliem Canacona, three accused persons namely 1. Julie Carneiro 2. Flora 3. Savio all r/o Loliem Canacona with their common intention dishonestly induced the complainant by showing and promising to sell Bungalow and its surrounding property at Loliem, Canacona.
The trio claimed the said property to be their own property and accepted the payment of Rs. 1,26,50,000/- from the complainant promising to sell the said bungalow and surrounding property. The three accused further failed to deliver the said bungalow and property to the complainant, and when the complainant conducted enquiry, he came to know that the said property does not belong to the accused persons.
Canacona police booked the trio and registered the offence u/s 318 r/w 3(5) of BNS Act.
