LOUTOLIM: Maina Curtorim Police have registered an offence against Jose Cruz, a resident of Roulem, Loutolim, after he allegedly misplaced his licensed firearm.
According to police, the incident occurred prior to September 21, 2025, at TNK in Roulem. The firearm, a pistol, was reportedly in Cruz’s possession under a valid license.
However, due to negligence, he failed to ensure its safe custody, thereby violating conditions laid down by the competent authorities for handling licensed weapons.
The case was registered on the complaint of ASI Jitendra Gaonkar of Maina Curtorim Police Station. Further investigation is being conducted by LPSI Sonal Gounkar.
