SAVOI-VEREM:Ramanata Crisna Pai Raikar School of Agriculture, Savoi-Verem recently inaugurated first of its kind State Rojgar Srujan Kendra as a part of nationwide campaign “Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan (employment generation centre)”
Stating that no government can provide jobs to all, Satish Kumar, All India Joint Organisor of Swadeshi Jagaran Manch said that one need to change their mindset from being a job seeker to a job giver. “There exist many opportunities for those trying to get into business but due to our wrong notion about employment, we are not trying to grab the opportunities”, said Kumar.
Kumar further appealed the youths to start earning early and participate whole heartedly in ‘Earn While learn’ & ‘On the job trainings’ for consistent career growth.
Manguirish Pai Raikar, chairman of RCPR education society said that the proposed centre will link job aspirants to the companies and help them to earn necessary skills for the jobs, provide career counseling, help in start-ups and entrepreneurship development. He at this time also briefed about efforts put by the college to improve skills of the students.
Prashant Deshpande, Regional coordinator of Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan (SBA) spoke about the conceptual thinking behind SBA and various activities conducted therein.
Other dignitaries including Damodar Morajkar, Arvind Bugde from Handicraft Corporation, representatives of economic development corporation were also present for the function.
RCPR College incharge Shrirang Jambhale delivered welcome speech while Mahesh Shilkar proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was attended by the industrialists, farmers and students.
