Navelim: A case of assault, trespass, and property damage has been registered at the Margao Town Police Station following a complaint by Carlos Gomes, a resident of Telaulim, Navelim.
The incident reportedly occurred on July 27 at around 9:10 PM at the S.P. Carvalho premises, located near the complainant’s residence.
According to the complaint, a group of five individuals—identified as Melvin Pereira of Varca, Colva, along with four others named Selvin, Carmu, Joseph, and Salman (whose full names and addresses are yet to be ascertained)—allegedly trespassed into Gomes’s property. The accused persons, acting with common intention, are said to have assaulted the complainant and caused damage to his belongings, including an LCD television and four chairs.
The Margao Town Police have registered the offence, and further investigation is being carried out by ASI Rosario Dias.
