MAPUSA: The Goa Congress Seva Dal Unit has commenced a monthly tradition of hoisting the National Flag on the last Sunday of every month.
As part of this ongoing initiative, a Flag Hoisting Ceremony was held on the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa at the Mapusa residence of former Union Law Minister, Adv. Ramakant Khalap.
The event was attended by esteemed guests including chief guest Adv. Ramakant Khalap, Rajan Ghate (Goa Seva Dal Chief), Sudhir Kandolkar (Councillor), Anand Bhaidkar (Councillor), Adv. Shashank Narvekar (Councillor and PCC Block President for Mapusa), Chandrakant Chodankar (Ex-Minister), Vijay Bhike (PCC General Secretary and Spokesperson), and Dr. Pratiksha Khalap (President, Goa Pradesh Mahila Congress).
In his address, Adv. Ramakant Khalap highlighted the cultural significance of Gudi Padwa and its historical ties to the freedom movement. He reiterated the importance of unity and collective efforts in achieving success as a political organization.
Applauding the Seva Dal for their dedicated efforts, he encouraged party workers to continue fostering a spirit of service and patriotism.
