PANAJI: Former Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) Councillor Menino D’Cruz has conveyed says he wants to contest on a Congress ticket in Panaji constituency and has accordingly convyed his decsion to the party.
“I want to contest elections on Congress ticket in Panjim constituency; it is upto the party to decide on my candidature. If my party does not give me a ticket i will not contest as an independent candidate, i am always a Congress supporter,” said D’Cruz addressing th media
He also said that he is ready to support candidature of Utpal Parrikar if he wants to contest elections on Congress ticket.
“If BJP does not give a ticket to Utpal Parrikar, and wants to contest on Congress ticket, i will support his candidature,” he added
