CANACONA: Stating that strengthening coastal security will safeguard our nation, GLA Speaker and Canacona MLA Ramesh Tawadkar laid the foundation stone for the construction of Coastal Security Police Station at Talpona in Canacona.
The Coastal Security Police Station at Talpona,Canacona will be constructed with a total cost of ₹1.29 crore.
Speaking further Tawadkar remembering the unfortunate incident of Mumbai said In the aftermath of the 26/11 attacks, this initiative reinforces our commitment to strengthening coastal security and safeguarding our nation.
Also spoke on the occasion Director General of Police Alok Kumar, IPS and other top police officers were present at the foundation ceremony.
