CALANGUTE: The Calangute police affected major breakthrough by working out an iPhone 12 mobile snatching case at Candolim, which took place in the early morning of 18/10/2021.
Four accused persons have been apprehended – Sairaj Govekar, aged 23 years r/o Pilerne; Mylan Viegas, aged 27 years r/o Taleigao; Sunil Chawan, aged 24 years r/o Pilerne and Salim Rotiwala, aged 24 years r/o Nerul.
All were produced before JMFC Mapusa and remanded to 1 day of Police custody. The stolen mobile has been recovered. The two-wheelers used in the Commission of the crime has been attached in this case. Further investigation is in progress.
