Agnelo YSC Paroda secured a crucial semifinal spot with a narrow victory, marking a significant moment in the competition. This achievement was largely due to the standout performance of Sowell Fernandes, who not only scored the decisive goal but also earned the Man of the Match award. The tournament continues to showcase competitive football at the Government school ground in Cuncolim, drawing attention from fans and enthusiasts alike.
Fr. Agnelo YSC Paroda’s path to the semifinals was sealed with a 1-0 win over Parish Youth Nuvem. The winning goal came in the 22nd minute, courtesy of Sowell Fernandes, who was assisted by Denzil Vaz. This pivotal moment in the match underscored the team’s determination and skill. Following his impressive display, Sowell Fernandes was awarded the Man of the Match, a recognition presented by Siddhesh Kurade.
