PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant today said that a full fledged budget will be passed by July 19 in Goa assembly.
“We are managing with vote on account which has limitations. Once the full budget is passed, finance related issues will be resolved,” he said
when asked about Power Minister Nilesh Cabral’s complaining against pending files in finance department, CM said that may be files are pending due to some finance rules.
“This happened because there is vote on account and not full budget. Cabral hasn’t spoken to me about this issue. I will look into it,” he added.
Meanwhile, the State cabinet today granted approval to enrolment of 270 workers on daily wages into Public Works Department’s Labour Supply Society (PWDLSS).
The enrollment will entitle the contract employees with restricted benefits of leave ,medical reimbursement etc.
