PONDA: Minister Govind Gaude to take a final call on whether to contest assembly election on the BJP ticket or independently after consulting his supporters and volunteers. Gaude with a huge crowd of his supporters kickstarted his election campaigning after seeking blessings of Goddess Shree Mahalasa recently.
Priol constituency’s Independent MLA and Minister Govind Gaude seems to have flexed his muscles by recently gathering a huge crowd of thousands of people and sought blessing of Goddess shree Mahalasa by offering coconut and prayer to launch his campaign for the 2022 Assembly Election.
Later during his public address Gaude said BJP President Sadanand Tanavade has offered him to Join BJP with assurance of a party ticket to contest from Priol.“I have an offer to contest on a BJP ticket from Priol if I join BJP, but I have not made a decision yet. My supporters’ decision will be the final thing which will decide whether I should contest independent or on a BJP ticket, “ said Minister Govind Gaude”.
He further said that he is grateful to the BJP government for undertaking developmental works in Priol constituency. He will never betray the faith shown by the BJP government in him” Gaude stated. It may be recalled that some BJP supporters have been demanding a party ticket for BJP worker Sandeep Nigalye asking not to force Govind Gaude on them by giving him a BJP party ticket.
