PANAJI: In a significant development within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Goa, Gauresh Madkaikar has been elected as the new president of the Saligao BJP Mandal.
The election of Mandal presidents in 36 constituencies was marked by a felicitation ceremony attended by several high-profile leaders, highlighting the importance of grassroots leadership in the party.
The felicitation ceremony, which took place recently, was graced by Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant, BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh, and BJP Goa President Sadanand Shet Tanavade.
The event also saw the presence of various BJP Padhadhikaris (office bearers) and Karyakartas (workers), underscoring the party’s commitment to strengthening its presence at the local level.
Saligao MLA Kedar Naik, who attended the ceremony, extended his best wishes to Gauresh Madkaikar, expressing confidence that the new president would enhance the party’s vision and leadership at the grassroots level.
