PANAJI: The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has announced the tentative schedule for the Class 10 (SSC) and HSSC final exams for the academic year 2025-26. The exams are expected to be held between February and March 2026.
The Class 10 exams are set to begin on March 2, 2026, starting with the English paper. Following that, Hindi and Marathi exams will take place on March 4 and March 6, respectively. Other subjects such as Social Science, Mathematics, Geography, Science, Konkani, and Sanskrit will be conducted through mid to late March. This year’s Class 10 exams will follow the new National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 guidelines.
Meanwhile, the HSSC exams will commence earlier, beginning on February 10, 2026, with the English paper. Subsequent papers include Accountancy, History, Physics, Biology, Economics, Mathematics, and others spread over February. The final HSSC exams will conclude with Geography on February 27.
The Board clarified that theory exams for certain School Assessment Subjects not mentioned in the official timetable, including Physical Education exams for students with special needs, will be administered by individual schools.
