PANAJI: Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Girish Chodankar today said that he was ready to face inquiry as alleged by Aleixo Reginald that he had misappropriated party funds.
“I have already spoke to Goa Incharge Dinesh Gundu Rao to start an inquiry on him as alleged by Reginald that he misappropriated party funds” said Chodankar
MLA Aleixo Reginaldo had alleged that GPCC President Girish Chodankar had misappropriated party funds in the state.
Former chairperson and current councillor of Curchorem Cacora Municipal Council Balkrishna Hodarkar joined the Congress on today in the presence of senior Congress leaders.
Hodarkar a erstwhile BJP loyalist was declared elected as chairperson of the Council on April 1, but was ousted on April 16 after six BJP backed councillors moved no-confidence motion against him.
Meanwhile, Girish said that an 30 day outreach program will be launched across state during which party members will visit each and every family of COVID19 victims and give condolences.
“AICC President Sonia Gandhi will be giving condolence letters,” he added
