PANAJI: Goa Medical College (GMC) Dean Dr Shivanad Bandekar today has issued circular stating that no doctors from GMC & Hospital are allowed to join any organization/association/institution even on honorary basis till the time COVID-19 pandemic ends.
Bandekar informed that that the same is done as their services are needed for Goa Medical College & Hospitals attached to it.
“This decision has been taken as per the instruction of Higher Authority,” Bandekar said
He further said that the order will be in place till covid pandemic exists.
“the doctors used to get engage in other institutions and due to which there was doctor shortage in GMC during emergency, hence the decision is taken,” Bandekar said
